About the Frazer Lab
The Frazer Lab at UC San Diego is dedicated to understanding the human genetics underlying cancer and cardiovascular diseases. By first identifying the genetic variants associated with these serious health problems, the team then aims to work out the role they play in pathogenesis and the progression of disease, and what they mean for patients’ prognosis. With this work, the Frazer Lab hopes to contribute to faster translation of genomic research into treatments and clinical applications.
